Lennox 12U98 is a time relay, an enclosed fan delay timer that gives the condenser fan a timed start, enabling it to run only at times when outdoor air is being drawn into the system. This makes the condenser fan run for a fraction of the time it normally would, and also allows motors to last longer due to less wear that occurs when they run full time for long periods.

Our time relays are used for the control of bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans, space heaters, pumps and other devices. Used with ceiling mounted controllers, they provide timed on-off functions, usually for 4 or 24 hours.
