Our Lennox® 17F07 COLLECTOR BOX is unique because it is installed into the base of the plenum to collect any water or moisture that can't be exhausted from the air handler. It then drains down through a weep hole and into the pan to be evaporated/dried within the house.

The Collectors Box is the one item inside the Lennox 17F07 that adds 35% more capacity to this boiler offering as it does not heat water. The box is a porta-pack 2.8 gallon vertical storage tank with an added outlet port programmed by the factory to come on half way between the 1 hour and 2 hour mark of run time. Water enters the box, circulates in this containment tank before it reaches the heating portion of the collection box and then back through a return port in the upper and lower section of this vertical tank.
