The Lennox 28G16 1/2HP, single phase, 1075 RPM motor is a factory replacement Air Conditioning (AC) motor used with Lennox and other AC brands. The Lennox 28G16 Refrigeration (R) Motor has the following specifications:

The Lennox 28G16 is a 1/2-hp, single-phase, 1153 voltage, 460V max. speed centrifugal motor.

Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality AC Motor APPLICATIONS: These ¾HP motors are ideal for heavy duty air conditioning, heater and fan applications. The motors can also handle high thermal conditions due to their cast iron frames.

This motor is designed for heating and air conditioning applications that require a compact, full horsepower motor with a permanent split capacitor. It is ideal for central air conditioners and heat pumps of 16000 btuh to 150000 btuh and single phase to 1 circuit 208/234- volt systems.

Boilers and water heaters are all fitted with a 2-speed condenser fan motor. The motors rotate counterclockwise and have a rated cooling capacity of 2,448 Btu/hr (3H-185F) @ 206F.
