140-170F AUTO Limit Switch

This LimitCtrl Open/Close 170-140F Limit Switch from Lennox is used to control the heating and cooling condition in HVAC systems. Designed for commercial or industrial applications, this limit switch has a quick response time and metal construction for durability, quality and long-lasting use.

The LimitCtrl Open170 Close 140 is a three-position (OFF, ON, AUTO) limit switch with two coils as rated and is constructed using a mercury wetted contact system. The LimitCtrl Open170 Close 140 includes a captive actuator for operating the switch in the ON position.

The LimitCtrl Open170-Close140 provides a control loop function by allowing and preventing current flow through an electrical circuit. By monitoring the temperature and controlling the output stage, this high quality automatic limit control device helps to maintain a constant setpoint temperature. The LimitCtrl may be adjusted by replacing the jumper pins or moving the potentiometer knob.

The LimitCtrl Open170 Close140 has an adjustable range of 140F to 170F. This unit is not recommended for heavy load applications such as deck motors. Use in Air Conditioning, ventilating and/or heating systems requiring NEMA designation 3R. The LimitCtrl features an NEMA 4X watertight housing, bright red open and close microswitch levers and 22awg wires.
