Lennox 42W39 thermal expansion valve is a heating system component that helps to control fluctuation in water temperature. It is designed to be mounted to a metal flue so the water returning from the evaporator, flows through a buffer chamber, then into a heat exchanger and up through the hydronic tubing inside the walls or floors of the building.

The Lennox 42W39 thermal expansion valve replaces the 19L2-42H3 and fits EcoQuest, ENEQ, Signature Series, iComfort, Infinity, Platinum and Nautilus Plus furnace models manufactured after 07/01/12. Preventing heat loss is important when your furnace is performing at its highest efficiency.
