Time Delay Relay for air cooled heat pump system 58C98 RY

The 58C98 time delay relay is designed to meet the exacting requirements of the motor protection circuit. It uses a solid-state piezoelectric device as an oscillator, instead of mechanical contacts. This has allowed us to design a relay with a shorter cycle time – 3 to 10 seconds – and greater power rating – 20 amps at 120 vac – than any other time delay relay. This relay provides all the necessary overload protection to meet the intent of NEC 240-4(b).
