LATCHING RELAY
The 81G65 relay is available in a variety of package types, including 450 VAC, 6-32 VDC (USE83), and 12 to 32 VDC (USE84). The LATCHING RELAY is equipped with a normally closed contact and is designed to provide latching or reliable hold-in overtravel protection.
The Latching Relay was designed for designers who use pneumatic cylinders and are looking for a simplified and sturdy way to latch the relay. This advanced device also comes with a heavy-duty extension cable that allows the Latching Relay to be mounted up to 20' away.
"The Latching Relay is a solid-state, two position, eddy-current, electromagnetic device for controlling heating or cooling cycles. It consists of permanent magnets, a magnetic core, and 2 independent coils."
The Latching Relay is a solid state, power output relay used to switch large loads in industrial and commercial applications. It has no moving parts to wear out, withstands high ambient operating temperatures, & is UL recognized.
The Latching Relay features one-hand latching/unlatching and is available in replaceable, field-replaceable, or field-installable configurations. The relay is normally closed and latches when a switch contact closes. The relay can be unlatched by lightly pulling the latching handle until the latch pin clears the switch terminal. This handle will also latch if one-handed unlatching is desired.
