The Lennox 99K39 Expansion Valve Expansion Valve is the part of the furnace responsible for automatically managing gas pressure, temperature and air flow. It monitors the level of refrigerant in the system and by holding a consistent level it allows the home to be heated or cooled easily. The expansion valve monitors capacity and flow rate through adaptive control technology while communicating with a smart thermostat to optimize system efficiency.

This Lennox 99K39 Expansion Valve is built to handle gas valve applications. Its C-clip allows for easy removal and re-installation of the cylinder rod, and its Inlet Connection has a threaded closure.

A Lennox expansion valve is a totally enclosed assembly designed to maintain a minimum pressure in a duct system. The valve has two inlet connections, a single outlet connection and an air charge switch that is set to open the valve at 100% of the condenser air temperature or approximately 1 psi above the desired minimum operating pressure.

Lennox 99K39 Corporation Expansion Valve, suitable for use on any type of domestic or commercial heating system with hot water or steam circulating through it. The expansion valve's independent temperature sensing element allows it to function effectively without the need for the circulation pump to be operational. It is compatible with hot water systems that are either controlled via panel convectors or via a timed circulator pump.

The 99K39 is a factory-installed, one-pipe, multiple-zone expansion valve with 2/2 duplex system for a Lennox G21 furnace. The valve includes an integral humidifier screen and an integral bypass damper in the branch line. Cavity plugs are not included: if required, order Q99993. A typical Application would be a single family home in a moderate climate.

The Lennox® 99K39 heating system expansion valve is specifically designed for air-conditioning and heat pump systems. The two-part valve can be adjusted to meet the capacity requirements of most systems. The valve meets the NSF 61 standards for RNase reduction.
