The LO NOX surface ignition system is designed to operate in all weather conditions. The system features a capillary motion ignition design which draws the required combustion air from the surrounding atmosphere rather than an external air inlet, which allows for operation of the burner in any atmospheric condition including those containing water vapor.

They feature a patented low-oxidation burner design that produces more heat with 25% less natural gas. The A O Smith NOX series main burner is a revolutionary gas burner with low NOx emissions.It produces 48,000 BTU/HR nominal and can light up to 100,000 BTU/HR (13in flame) with Inconel burner head. The NOX series main burner contains advanced technologies and components like a convex ring-shaped pre-heat chamber, Inconel burner head, Micro channel burner head which significantly lower the NOX and extend its lifetime.

This 45000 btu/hr Liquid Propane (LP) fueled main burner kit is designed to fit the K30 (30" width) and K58 (58" width) KOHLER Instant Kerosene Outdoor Fireplaces. NOTE: The Nox-LP kit fits the K30/K58 models only; it will not fit previous K series models or any other model number. All components of this Liquid Propane (LP) fueled burner kit are backed by AO Smith's limited warranty, which offers residential customers a full range of installation and service options.
