Honeywell's Modutrol IV series of actuators require a 24 VDC power supply (minimum 2 amps). The minimum stroke length is 1.00 in (25.4 mm) and the maximum is 12.00 in (304.8 mm). Maximum current range is 150 lb-in (2A resistive) and 240 lb-in (3A inductive), 90 degree throw.

The Modutrol IV series industrial electric actuators use slow-blow fuses, positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistors, over-current protection and adjustable ramp control. The motor is mounted on a 3/4 in. diameter, hardwood dowel pin that takes the place of the 4-32 threaded rod normally used with inertia type actuators. A set screw at the end of the rod permits easy adjustment to neutral and helps absorb vibration.
