It is intended to be used in 24 VAC zoning applications such as garage doors, gates, and electric shades and shutters. The Honeywell 316579 Actuator, Spring Return Direct Mount Two Position 24 Vac is an accessory for the M-847D Series mobile terminals. The Honeywell 316579 Actuator, Spring Return Direct Mount Two Position 24 Vac provides support and stability for the parking brake lever.

Made for Z-Wave enabled garage doors, this 24 volt solenoid has two positions. The spring return mount creates a reliable product with low power consumption. The more compact direct mount unit fits a wider variety of applications and uses three terminal wires (one for power, one common, and one for switching).

Fits directly on the two position 24 vac actuator, allows for another mounting option. One end of the spring is fixed and the other end is attached to a flat cable that passes through the diffuser dish. The other end of the cable is attached to a collar that attaches to travel stop bracket which also double as a shield block holder.
