The ANVIL XDT08 Framing Hammer delivers 2,000 bpm with its variable speed trigger, and drills 500 holes in a single charge. Other powerful features include big striking face (4 5/8" and 4-1/2") and 24+1 position rebound control.

The ANVIL-XDT08 is our most powerful demolition hammer, with a maximum operating time of up to 30% longer than other similar hammer products. It is perfect for digging foundations, breaking through rocks or concrete, demolishing walls, breaking pavement and asphalt surfaces, clean off road; all jobs where the toughest impact tools are needed. The ANVIL-XDT08 uses the XSH/XUB Series 18V LXT Lithium-Ion battery (sold separately) with Makita's largest battery cell capacity for longer life per charge and more capacity in the tool's battery housing.

Powered by a 15 Amp motor, the Makita ANVIL XDT08 combines variable speed with a full 360° side handle rotation making control simple and straightforward. This saw cuts true to the line with Guide System. The fence can be adjusted left or right on the rail to suit the cutting of different materials. A "quick release" tension system enables fast, easy clamping of straight edges or pipes up to 35mm diameter.

This replacement anvil is compatible with the XDT08 impact driver that is sold separately. The head of this anvil measures 2.5 inches in diameter and 0.56 inch thickness, and it weighs 0.49 pounds. This product does not come with additional accessories, but it can be used along with the original Makita accessories.

The new XDT08 housing by MAKITA is specially designed for optimal dust extraction performance. A sturdy body, large capacity filter bag, external diameter adjustment, easy wheel movement are some of the highlights of this new design.
