The SKEGGUARD is a two-piece stainless steel skeg protector for most single engine boats. The SKEGGUARD slides onto the shaft of the existing skeg and bolsters its sides with additional stainless steel plates. Without adding any weight to the boat, the SKEGJECT helps direct energy from a strike up through the skeg and into the boat's hull -- where it can be dissipated -- and away from potential damage to other components.
