The MTD 700 Series walk behind mower uses a belt system for drive power to the rear wheels. The belt system is comprised of a (2) two times speed/dual V-belt(s), and Pulleys & Idler Pulley for final drive. The V-belt is tensioned by a Spring-Extension Assembly.
