The MTD 951-10161 is a replacement exhaust system. This exhaust muffler is dual in design and will fit both right and left machines. The MTD 951-10161 is constructed with a galvanized steel body and comes complete with clamps or bolts for secure installation.

This MTD Muffler: Dual In is a direct fit for the following models: MTD 954-637-0102, MTD 954-640-0102, MTD 955-122-7310. The warranty will not be honored if this is not the exact part number you receive.

The MTD Dual In-Line Muffler is made to be installed with two mufflers - one on each inlet air duct. The Dual In-Line Muffler design helps reduce noise and improves engine performance via a combination of dual length parallel flow passages. With its streamlined oval chamber and tapered ends, the MTD Dual In-Line Muffler fits easily in a compact engine bay yet is built with the integrity and durability for long engine life.

This is a Dual-Injected cover. It has a steel exterior with Dual-Injected Plastic (DIP) panels, for superior durability and strength in all weather conditions. Unlike some other brands, MTD's cores will not crack, explode or rust out.

Our dual-inlet muffler works with most of our leaf blowers, handheld power trimmers, and lawn-and-garden tools. It features a mounting clamp to attach it to the end of a down-tube, and rubber baffles designed for quiet operation.
