The Garden Way 994-00128 Ignition Coil is a genuine part replacement for any of the following lawn mower brands: Troy-Bilt, Cub-Cadet, Craftsman, Bolens/Sears, Remington, Ryobi, Yardman/Troy-Bilt, Yard-Machine by White Huskey and Lawn-Boy. This can be used for select model years 1998 - 2006.

The ignition coil is wound on a permanent magnet. When the current flows through the primary coil, it creates a magnetic field around the secondary coil. This causes a voltage to jump the spark gap. The ignition then ignites the air/fuel mixture in the engine cylinder.

The assembly is in good cosmetic condition. There are scratches on the coil. The item is dirty and oil stained. There are broken heat shield tabs from the assembly that needs to be replaced. Failure of this part can cause engine damage.
