The 3597A TB2001 120v Actuator is used on the following water heater models: 3612A-3615, and 3624A-3630. This item is what turns the main burner on and off.

The 3597A TB2001 120V Actuator is actuated by means of compressed air and can be used for on-off operating of solenoid valves or butterfly valves. It is made from aluminum cast and has a 3/4" diameter stem.

The Multi TB2001 is a 120VAC (60 Hz) Pulse Actuator. It has a frequency of 20 kHz with a G-force of 2000. This actuator is suitable for applications that require high speed up-down movements and position control.

The 3597 Actuator (TB2001) provides 360 degrees of linear travel, and is available in bipolar or unipolar versions.

The 3597A can be used on fan coil units that utilize a TB2001 3 wire 120vac ballast. These Ballast must have a current pass device. The 3597A is not compatible with the 1 wire ignitor ( IEC ) ballasts. The 3597A'S purpose is to trigger the ballast at turn on and then disable it until the system reaches its set point. When this happens the 3597A will rearm and allow the voltage to pass through to trigger the lamp. ''

These TB2001 models are replacement (aftermarket) thermostats for Goodman air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps.

This Actuator is used for 120 Volt Applications (100-500 Cfm) and is part of the 3597A Temperature Controller Range. This particular actuator has a Single Pole Double Throw or SPDT on one terminal, and Single Throw Double Pole or STDP on the other terminal.
