US MOTORS 5465 "1/5-1/2hp is a 1/5-1/2 HP, 115/230 VAC, single phase permanently split capacitor induction motor in direct drive configuration with V belt. The "1/5-1/2hp features AB fan and blower wheel with polyurethane friction lining and aluminum alloy frame. Natural cooling, the "1/5-1/2hp comes complete with a thermal overload protector and class F insulation.

The US Motors 5465 is a 1/5-1/2hp motor with an aluminum isolated base and a single phase design. The motor has a 71.5 frame, 38mm diameter shaft and impeller, 200:1 gearbox, 3 wire leads per motor and a thermally protected frame.

The NIDEK 1/5-1/2 HP motors are rugged high starting torque motors that are sized to fit the application. This motor series has been designed to meet the needs of cooling, ventilation and air suppy applications in Commercial, Industrial or Institutional buildings.

A 1/5-1/2 H.P. direct drive permanent magnet motor for single phase operation only. This motor is designed for room air conditioner application in residential unit with easy cord access allowing an installers access to the blower wheel. This motor is not designed for window air conditioners or wall air conditioner.

I bought this motor for both of my Hydrofoil project boats, The boats are approximately 32' long. I needed a motor that had horsepower and was also small enough to be mounted on the back of the boat and not take up room in front. This motor did the job.
