The Pincer jaw straight handle (longer curved jaw) offers additional reach and gripping range thanks to its long curved jaw. The jaws can be fixed quickly by an quick-action screwing of the jaw handles into holes in the handle. The working length is thus reduced to only 33 mm compared with the original 50 mm. The compound action pincer of the OETIKER 320-14100496 is highly suitable for the intervention in emergency cases, when ripping muscles and ligaments.
The Oetiker Compound Action grabbing tools features one-hand operation and a metal release trigger and swivel head which provides a choice of three different jaw entry positions. The jaws can be opened to 140 degrees and have a jaw force of up to 300N. Its straight handle with soft grip and a padded hang loop is adjustable in length.
The pincers are made of high quality stainless steel. Their uniform flat surfaces enable a smooth and secure gripping. The joints have dull, rounded edges, protected by surface protection caps. The sizes available (1/2-5/8) correspond to the metric screw thread systems M/10 and M/12. The handles fit perfectly into the hand, making work easier, reducing the risk of injury and facilitating precise movements by the surgeon.
