SPST PRESSURE CONTROL

A pressure control switches the flow of gas on or off at a preset pressure. This single pole, single-throw (SPST) pressure control switch provides automatic operation and is threaded to fit an NPT port.

The Johnson Controls 1022 Series Low-Pressure Vacuum Breaker are compact pressure control valves that protect showers, faucets, spas, and other plumbing fixtures. The pressure control prevents water hammer during pressure surges and is available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT threaded bodies. The body is made of brass for strength and corrosion resistance. The diaphragm style vacuum breaker is designed to provide long life with minimal maintenance and easy serviceability.

The Johnson Controls Pressure Control has a solenoid-operated spool valve which is opened and closed by a control signal. The control signal can be applied directly to the Pressure Control, or it can be combined with other logic circuits (n-way valves, alarms, etc.) where required.

The Johnson Controls Pressure Control models allow control of pressure in heating and cooling systems by either modulating the position of a diaphragm or decreasing the flow of refrigerant. Pressure is regulated by controlling a pressure relief valve. The Pressure Control switch acts as a low pass filter to remove high frequency switching noise.
