TJERNLUND F4918 In-Forcer commercial combustion air intake fans are designed for room pressure distribution systems fed by a central main fan and can be built in or installed separately. The new In-Forcer fan provides owners with a more efficient, effective and affordable way to provide fresh air to the home. Instead of simply blowing fresh air into the room, the In-Forcer blows it into the area right around your furnace or boiler ("combustion air"). The combustion air inlet is the place where you can make a real improvement to your heating system: by providing combustion air in sufficient quantity and quality, you are making sure that your furnace or boiler are drawing in large amounts of oxygen for complete combustion. TJERNLUND In-Forcer air intake fans have been designed to let fresh air in and combustion air out. The combination of fresh and comb-air is made possible by a perforated fan housing and screen. This makes it possible to operate the boiler at optimal combustion conditions.

The Ice-Forcer Intake Fans, when used in combination with an existing forced air heating and cooling system, can bring your combustion air as close as 1 foot to the closest point of the heating and cooling coils in a heating unit, or as far away as 20-30 feet. Commercial In-Forcers are built 5 inches larger than residential fans (4918) to ensure the delivery of enough airflow to properly start up combustion units. This is vitally important for safety and efficiency to keep moisture from building inside the heating system.

The 4918 Series In-Forcer™ Fan is the most efficient and compact fan on the market today. This powerful blower moves up to 3600 cfm of air and can be installed into tight areas requiring 1/4" to 3" of clearances. For commercial installations the 4918 In-Forcer™ Fan uses 25% less energy than similar non-Dynamically Balanced fans.

This is an air intake fan used to force fresh air into a room for combustion applications. It is offered in galvanized finish with a metal shut off plate. The In-Forcer is created with a built in hydrophilic inline humidifier, and uses an individual motor which speeds up the fan speed which also increases the sound level (dbA).
