The pedal that comes with your Dyson DC25 (914190-01) is a service part and should never be used to replace the foot switch on your machine if it has been dropped. This pedal does not work with any other Dyson models.

DC25 Pedal. This pedal controls the locking mechanism on the DC25 before you pull out the filter and dust bin at the rear of the machine from the main body. When not using for a period of time, remove pedal and store safely to prevent accidental operation.
