The PURGE VALVE is the little plastic knob on the front of your icemaker. If the water supply is shut off, you may need to pull this plug in order to initiate a batch of ice.

Easy to fit and mount. This 120VAC purge valve lets you control water distribution & purge air from plumbing lines with a garden hose, vacuum, or even hot water line. Use it to inject hot air into refrigeration lines to prevent vapor lock in ice machines.

Purge Valve is for use with the Ice-O-Matic units that supply water to numerous refrigerators and freezers. The Purge Valve for Ice-O-Matic 581212 can also be used on a variety of models from other manufacturers.

Purge Valve is used to purges ice lines of water and air that accumulate after shut down and before next use.
