The RESTRICTOR .005" is a heavy gauge steel surface discharge check valve for use with carbon dioxide. It is highly corrosion resistant due to it's all brass construction. The RESTRICTOR .005", containing no spring or moving parts, requires no service if leak tested.

The RESTRICTOR .005" limits the amount of refrigerant (refrigeration) circulating through the evaporator after the compressor shuts off. When used with an accurate temperature controller this device will maintain temperatures within 1/2 degree F of setting on most refrigeration systems. Mounted on suction side of evaporator or receiver. Not for use on systems with expansion valves (18-5 only).
