The Johnson Controls 8649 R-372-3 Adjustable Restrictor is used to restrict the flow of air into a room unit. It can be adjusted to 30-300 CFM OR 0.6-4.1 m³/min by turning the adjusting screw. The 8649 R-372-3 Adjustable Restrictor has 2 male quick connects, one 1/4 inch MPT and one 1/2 diagonal male NPT, each with 3 feet of 10 gauge power cord.

Johnson Controls 8649 R-372-3 adjustable restrictor can be used in all models with positive off airflow operation. The restrictor maintains a 16-80 cfm (502-2122 L/min) air flow at 20 psi (0.14 bar) across all sections of the damper. It is best suited for heating and ventilating systems that require a minimum of 16 cfm (501 L/min) and a maximum of 80 cfm (2119 L/min).

The Johnson Controls 8649 R-372-3 assembles easily, is simple to adjust and control, and is UL tested for safety. Our adjustable restrictor can be de-assembled for cleaning after each use.

The Johnson Controls 8649 adjustable restrictor is designed for use with Johnson Controls thermostatic mixing valves. It reduces the flow rate of refrigerant to thermostatic mixing valves or expansion valves to prevent over-pressurization according to the temperature difference between the two outlets of the thermostatic mixing valves or expansion valves.

Adjustable restrictor allows for accurate controls of liquids used in powder coating. Adjuster can be set at 0" to 1/4" to control the liquid volume available to the manifold.

The inner components in the Air Separation Unit are held in place in special grooves in the stationary shell. The grooves in which the inner components are held are designed to clearly define their allowable positions. The purpose of an adjustable restrictor is to allow the controlled adjustment of the airflow rate through the membranes to be adjusted.
