This is an R-410A 12-ton TXV that fits into the Amana line of rooftop units. It is used in central air conditioning systems that control air flow in a building.

Amana's line of single and mult-split systems can be used to cool and/or heat your home. The R410A 12TPY requires a TXV if manufactured after 1/01/05, or sold after 12/31/05. They can all run on regular 115 VAC as well as 277 VAC if the unit is AHRI Certified.

The L410A12T4-A is a Single Phase Commercial Cooling Load Only TXV. This commercial TXV is for R-410A, 4P systems where evaporator air flow is 15.0 to 130.0% of Nominal Air Flow.

My question is on a 42-3/8" X 20-15/16" X 24-3/8" FUJI 10CAP MTD. On the old txv there was two wires, one green and one red, about 3' long. I think green was signal and green. The new unit has three wire and the black and white wires were about 3' long and red wire is like 16" long and I can't figure out how to wire it up? Any suggestions would be appreciated
