A 2 stage gas valve solves the problem of low noise operation when using a water based fluid. Low noise is required for installations located near occupied areas such as offices, hospitals, schools and factory floor control rooms. This 24 volt 1"" gas valve has two stages. A low pressure "SSD" or solid state diaphragm actuated pilot which is ideal for use with a high sensitivity flow resolver type of controller. UPG s 1"" Nat Gas 2Stage Gas Valve is made of a durable, corrosion-proof case material. The unit is pressure safe up to 125 PSIG @ 10 gpm flow rate and incorporates adjustable differential pressure (DP) for better regulation with little or no loss. The 1" valve is designed for use on natural gas appliances. The non-plugging feature provides the greatest protection against condensation because the ball rod closes the main gas ports completely when the DP changes by only 50% of its setting compared to plug type valves where the DP changes by as much as 80%.

The United Aqua Group 1" Nat Gas 2 Stage Deluxe Valve features two 7/8" ports on the top and one 5/16"" port on the side. This deluxe valve is made for use on water heaters with a 30 or 40 gallon gas tank. It includes two locking tabs, a standard 2"" shut off, and ½" male flare adapter.
