Flame Sensor

The Flame Sensor is the replacement for the thermopile sensor that mounts in the flame arrestor and uses heat to turn on the flame machine.

The Flame Sensor is a simple, yet highly effective device for gas leak detection. Flame Sensing is an alternative to the much more expensive Ion Sensing technology and works in the same way. It measures the thermal radiation emitted by the flame and senses when this radiation falls below a set level, which may indicate that the flame has been extinguished. As a special feature, Aqua-Master Flame Sensing technology has also been designed to be flame retarded (i.e. it cannot be ignited by any ignition source).

The Flame Sensor is used with the refrigerant gas to detect the flame that ignited from the pilot light. This sensor is designed for use in 110-120 volt, single phase electrical applications. The sensor is designed for use in radiant tube heating elements and other radiant systems.

United Aqua Group® is the only U.S. company to offer a Flame Sensor with Flame Control option, normally shipped with all A1X Series machines. The Flame Sensor is used when flame control is not required by the plant operator. This allows the flame to rise above the sensor, enabling you to save on possible damaged food.

The United Aqua Group 006535F Flame Sensor (item# 006535) is a flame and ember detection sensor designed to be used with United Aqua Group 006535 and 008130 Series Modular Cook Stations. (The 000520 is the flame/ember sensor only)

The flame sensor is a very important part to the early detection of potential hazards. Place the detector near the end of the line (gas sink) for an easy installation, or on top of the gas dispensing cabinet. When used with the Aqua Magnet electronic temperature controller, it will be able to display temperature and flame status on one large screen for your convenience.
