The valve provides continuous protection against leakage and excessive pressure as it opens when the set pressure point is reached. United Aqua Group 008288F Model 992A-2342A PRV 60 PSI - Model 234A only offers 0.9-LPM flow at 21°F (-6°C) and 5 psig. This manual PRV is designed to reduce pressure in the condensate discharge line of packaged rooftop units. It features a solid body of brass, with a carbon zinc stem and seats, operating lever and spring.

The Model 992A-2342A pressure relief valve is a two-way, normally closed, spring-loaded check valve. It is used to relieve excessive system pressure by venting the line to atmosphere. In operation, the ball opens and closes to allow flow in one direction. When the pressure exceeds a preset value, the ball goes into full open position and venting of the line occurs. The product is designed for use on hot or cold water systems including household, commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems where not affected by freezing conditions or temperatures below 40F (5C).
