United Aqua Group 824 Pilot Gas Valve Nat. This pilot gas valve is designed to operate on a 24 Volt system. The pilot valve will open and close under the influence of a pilot flame to control the burner flame.

This gas valve is designed to switch pilot gas on and off to the appliances. It can be used for furnaces, boilers, water heaters and other equipments which use pilot gas.

This pilot gas valve is used on the following models 1350, 2100, 2200, 2300, 2500 and 2501 of our United Aqua Group residential gas water heater.

This gas valve is industry proven to shut off gas flow in the event of a pilot flame failure. The 24V PILOT SOLENOID VALVE operates as a normally closed device and shuts off the gas supply in the event of pilot flame failure. It is designed for use with most 600 CFM natural gas or propane fireplaces, heaters and boilers.

The Pilot Solenoid Valve opens and closes a pilot gas flow to the main burner orifice in the water heater. Its operation is controlled by a low voltage(24V) signal from the control device.
