This easy to install and program 4190 low water cut-off works with most brands of hot water and steam boilers, including popular models from Mears, HTS, Baypak and even intermittent lighting ballast controllers.
A 24 V hot water system switch that automatically cuts off the electric power supply to a boiler at a preset water level. The thermostatically controlled switch is designed for use on hot water storage tanks containing more than 45 litres of water. This low water cut-off has an audible 'click' as it cuts in and has twin push buttons for resetting or manually operating it.
The Low Water Cut-Off is designed for use with conditions of prolonged low water flow in conjunction with high heat. The unit can be connected in line with an existing or new electric hot water tank and will shut-off the incoming hot water supply if the level dips below a pre-set point, preventing further damage to the heating element and potentially saving the tank from costly replacement.
