The Ruud X-13 Motor operates on Single-phase 120V electrical power. This Single-phase 120V Ruud X-13 Motor is connected to a capacitor to provide quiet operation and smooth motor speed control. Additionally, this Ruud X-13 Motor is equipped with a thermal overload protector for safety and an integrated open drip proof connection box to ensure your warranty stays intact.

The X-13 motor is for use with room air conditioners (RAC) up to 13 SEER. It is a 3/4 horsepower, hermetic, in-line fan motor with an open drip proof construction and an aluminum frame.

For easier installation and better efficiency, the X-13 motor was developed to replace original motors. It works by a magnetic field generated by three electromagnets that interact with the iron core of an induction motor rotor.
