This Eon ECM Motor 1 hp is a non-condensing, single-speed, electric condenser motor designed for use in 24 or 28 volt heating and cooling applications. It has a Synchronous Protected (SP) permanently split capacitor (PSC) design that will not require an external capacitor when installed with compatible FASR capacitors.

The Ruud Eon ECM Motor is designed to operate efficiently in a variety of different conditions to ensure your comfort at home. The innovative inverter motor technology that the Eon ECM Motor runs on increases the operating efficiency of the motor, providing more comfort with less energy. With advanced electronic controls to maintain preset temperature, protect against short-circuits, and speed up start-up response time, this motor is ideal for cooling single zone packages that provide up to 12 tons of cooling and 16 tons of heating capacity.

The Eon ECM Motor is an enhanced motor with premium components for increased efficiency. All models have built-in check valves, sound baffles, and steel brackets to withstand harsh conditions.
