A replacement 24-volt SPST (single pole single throw) Normally Open (N.O.) relay for two-stage direct vent gas furnaces, RHEEM/Ruud models 42-21571-01 – 42-21571-10, used with 1/2" NPT pipe thread dies, and pressure dropped/modulating type pilot devices. Its purpose is to control the gas valve solenoid on the furnace for modulating furnaces, or to act as a pressure switch to ignite pilot flame on electric ignition furnaces.
