The Ruud 1/2"" High-Pressure Slope Inducer package from Rheem includes a single stage gas valve with HSI and DSI ports (DSI will reduce the incoming supply pressure for hot water use) and a slope inducer that is used to plumb natural gas to appliances with low gas pressure requirements.

The Ruud HSI/DSI Slope-Option 1 Stage Gas Furnace features a durable heat exchanger and blower wheel, to provide outstanding comfort and reliability. The blower wheel is designed for quiet operation while operating at multiple speeds with variable pitch blades. Also featured is an Auto Clean function which cleans the furnace filters, as well as the condensation drain and filter in a single operation. This unit requires 1" gas line.

The RHEEM 60-24350-01 1/2" High Selective (HSI) or DSI Variable Speed Open Drip is designed with a single stage high efficiency compressor for optimum comfort and savings while it is providing improved environmental control. This tank is energy efficient and has an automatic reset thermal expansion valve to maintain system stability in varying temperatures. The corrosion resistant metal jacket makes this model ideal for high temperature applications such as swimming pools and spas. There are no special tools required for installation and this unit is covered under a limited lifetime warranty.
