This Orifice Kit is used as a replacement orifice for the Ruud 62-22175-42 #42 (.0935) Nat. Gas Furnace equipped with a Horizontal Tubing Venting System and an Automatic Air Vent Damper. This item controls the amount of gas entering the furnace when only one burner is in use.

The Rheem 62-22175-42 - Ruud #42 (.0935) Orifice is designed to fit a Ruud Heat Pump, and is installed by a qualified heating contractor. This orifice should be replaced at the first sign of reduced efficiency, negative pressure drop, or insufficient airflow.

Install orifice for .093" gas line and set the gas pressure between 20 to 25 PSI. If line pressure is below 18 PSI, or above 28 PSI, order a larger (or smaller) orifice.

The Rheem RTG condensing gas valve is designed for use with a standard, copper, expansion tank. It provides increased adjustability to meet the needs of most conventional gas water heaters currently in service. DMT's/(5) temperature settings range from 121-125 degress F. This orifice is for a 4" gas piping connector and comes with Stainless steel spring and Brass cap.
