The exhaust transition will help convert your 3" x 12" vent stack to connect to the 6" round opening of an Rheem Fan-forced heater when the vent shaft varies in size. This tool is helpful in connecting the gas furnace installed in a garage or other area where there is no access to an existing plumbing vent stack. It can also be used as a replacement part if the diameter pipe becomes bent or damaged on installation
The Rheem 68-22675-03 is an exhaust transition for a two pipe ceiling. It includes the new design S-Lock that is easy to install and allows the welder to make changes quickly with less down time.
The Rheem 68-22675-03 Exhaust Transition is a metal pipe that connects the gasket cap of duct exhaust to the adapter of a wall or ceiling applied exhaust fan. It is used with the following Rheem brand units: Ventilators: VRM1250A, VRM1400A, VRM1500A, VRM1550A, and VRM1500B.
Shown in image above is a Rheem 68-22675-03 Exhaust Transition for use with a Gas Log Fireplace Insert Model Spd # 68-22030 or 68-22030. This product addresses the need to cap an existing flue which has been previously capped.
