It can also be used as a replacement part for R11/R22 and R40K/R40-NAV water heaters that are built after 2004. It features a 1 micron rating to trap debris and sediment and extend its operating life. With a Freezeproof design, this filter can withstand freezing temperatures without breaking down.

The Rheem INLET WATER FILTER replaces the factory installed filter in your water heater and provides excellent filtration. This product features stainless steel housing and a white body with an easy-to-use chrome lever to open, close, and lock the filter replacement collar. This product is tested and certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of Chlorine Taste and Odor, Particulate Class I Sediment, Cyst Reduction, andpH Reduction.
