A Piezo Ignitor is used to start fuel burning appliances such as gas water heaters, gas logs, or ranges. Without a spark, there is no way to light the fuel burner. A Piezo Ignitor has the ability to create the spark with electricity that is need by the fuel burner.

The Rheem SP20307 Piezo Ignitor provides a quick, clean way to light your gas appliances. This piezoelectric ignitor is designed to ignite gas logs, fireplaces, natural gas grills and high BTU burners in radiant heat systems. It's compatible with most gas logs or any appliance with a CSA-approved gas connection.

The SP20307 piezo ignitor is designed to ignite multiple burners with a single ignitor. This includes the 3100 and 4100 series gas water heaters; the 2000 series gas/electric water heaters; and the 6000 through 8800 series LP Gas water heater models listed above, plus their natural gas equivalent.
