The "PILOT ASSM is a self-contained automatic switch that controls one-to-three and three-to-one gas and electric water heaters. It is primarily used in single family homes. As backup protection for heating equipment, the "PILOT ASSM switches directly off all pilot flames if the pilot gas pressure drops below 14 to 24"of water column ""WC""and simultaneously turns on an audible and visual alarm.

Robertshaw's 1830-019 "PILOT ASSM" Pilot Automation System can be manually operated by the operator when it is desirable to do so. Or, it can be completely automated with the use of a radio remote.

The Robertshaw 1830-019 "PILOT ASSM" is a position indicating lighting control. This product is designed for use with lighting circuits in homes, commercial buildings and hotels. The Pilot® ASM (Air Signal Module) by Robertshaw is a compact air flow control device with manual adjustment and interchangeable spindles. The pilot device is commonly used in applications where it is desirable to maintain airflow settings during an interruption of power. When the power is restored, the pilot will restore default/previous airflow settings. The pilot comes preset at factory with "0" airflow, meaning no heated air will flow through the unit until you manually turn it on."
