The HS780-34NR-306A was specially designed to provide convenient direct plug-in connection of a thermocouple assembly and cable to a hot surface ignitor in open vessels with flame failure protection. By the application of the module, combustibles can be eliminated from the hot surface ignitor. It features an all welded steel housing that is suitable for marine use and meets Class 1 Division 2 standards. The unit has remote indicator lights that display safe operating conditions for the high voltage battery.

The Model HS780 Hot Surface Ignition Module (HSIM) is a compact and rugged design which holds the electrical components to initiate a combustion on gas range cook tops. The HS780 module is a self-contained, high voltage ignitor and transformer assembly capable of generating up to 60,000 volts. This unit has both a tubular heating element (7 1/2" long) and an LT or HT pilot wire with an electrically-heated tip.
