Honeywell 2720 is a pneumatic switching relay pilot signal 3 and 7 psi . It is used in pneumatic systems in instrumentation , process control and air handling applications. The Honeywell 2720 is designed for pneumatic switching applications. Its N.C. contact provides low pilot to signal ratio and is ideal for use with large demand valves.

The Honeywell Pneumatic Switching Relay is used to control fans, motors, and other pneumatic devices. It requests 3 or 7 psig pilot signal and switches when pressure reaches 5 or 10 psig. The 2720 is a pilot signal switching relay with large 3 to 7 PSI range. It is adjustable, compact, and economical. It is capable of handling larger pilot pressures than the common S5 (3 to 5 PSI) and the S7 (3 to 7 PSI).

Our 3 and 7 psi switching relays, Model 2720, accept pilot signals from 0-10 VDC, 0-5 VDC and 4 to 20 mA. (Models 2800 and 2900 also accept a high-level AC input.) All relays have a low coil current draw of approximately 3.8 ma at 12 V dc or 24ma at 24 V dc, allowing them to be powered from most control sources. These SSR's are available in a variety of forms including DIP switches, lever switches, push buttons and single pole change over push buttons.

The 2720 is a pneumatic switching relay that supplies pilot pressure of 3 psig to 7 psi via three special ports. The switching temperature is rated at 30°C (86°F). The pressure required at the control port is 2 psi +/- 0.1 psi with a maximum pressure of 5 psi, which can be obtained by forcing air through an orifice on the control side of the relay.
