The 0.8x.4 Pressure Switch is used to sense small pressure changes across a broad range of temperature and other conditions. It provides an electrical signal whenever the water valve opens and closes as well as during washing and mixing processes. The switch is suitable for applications such as dishwashers, ice makers, drinking fountains, etc.

The Pressure Switch 0.80 X .4 is 2-wire, normally closed, pilot operated ON/OFF control device that mounts on the gas supply line. The pilot opens a solenoid valve remote from the control knob. The pilot is protected by a pilot isolation valve that opens to permit pilot operation when a downstream pressure of 1.8 PSIG or more is present. When pilot is not being held on by solenoid, pilot isolation valve closes and prevents any gas from entering the system downstream of the SNV screw on this device.
