The York Limit Switch Assembly manufactured by York is a replacement part for your furnace. The Limit Switch Assembly L165 typically causes your furnace to shut off when the blower is not working. It also causes your furnace to turn on when the blower is not working. It activates when the temperature exceeds 165 degrees. If you hear relays clicking after the blower and compressor has shut off and before they would normally be turned back on it means that this switch may need to be replaced. This limit switch assembly fits models L150, L151 and L155 with size 165 amps and size 135 amps with an auto reset.
