+ Drill Size 29 has a smaller orifice size than the more common 32 drill, which allows for more gas flow. This line is designed to allow maximum operating pressure at a lower PSI.
Fits orifice sizes 29 (0.136"), generally used by MIG welders with output of 100 amps or less at 25-40 amps range for welding thinner grades of materials
New York Orifice Drills are used for gas or water service to residential, commercial or municipal buildings. They are for use with all combustible pipe materials, including plastic.
The YORK S1-9951-1361 orifice fits a 3/4" NPT pipe thread. The orifice features a 1/4 x 28 tpi male pipe thread and a .136 diameter hole size. The non-toxic, low-pressure, standard black silicone housing also has a characteristic bend at the bottom for proper water drainage. The orifice is manufactured from type 304 stainless steel with a black oxide finish as well as .312" hardened tool steel inserts.
This 0.136" NPTF orifice is a top choice for applications that require a low pressure drop and small gas flow restriction, such as a burner safety valve. The SWAN-NYLON® elastomer cover maintains superior metering properties in critical applications. The 0.136" NPTF orifice is threaded for use with metal inserts to further reduce flow restriction when adjusting needle seats to precise pressures. York orifices are recommended when both high flow and low pressure drop are prioritized in the same application.
Whether you use your gas orifice for biotechnology, under the hood of your car, or in a model rocket engine, you can be sure it is made of high-quality steel and produced to exacting standards in a clean, safe facility in the USA.
