The 2-way, Normally Closed Solenoid Valve with Sealed Coil DC Power Supplies is a remotely operated, electrically actuated control valve. This valve is used to control the flow of fluids in applications requiring a positive, fail-safe method of switching. It has no moving parts when in the normally closed position, and should not be confused with a check or balance valve. The normally closed solenoid coil (normally open coil when de-energized) remains energized until manually de-energized by operation of an electric switch (normally open contact).
