DSI CONTROL 11 SEC DUAL ROD

The DSI (Direct Spark Ignition) Control 11 sec Dual Rod with Two Electrode spark gap assembly is designed for two electrode gas and liquid burners. The system uses compressed air to prime the gas burner. Once primes the gas burner's pilot will ignite and run off of natural gas, propane or other gas or fuel. This Dual Rod System will control the temperature, hot surface ignition and flame stabilization in high temp heavy duty applications. The system provides precision temperature control and ignition sequencing with 0-5v output signal.

Honeywell's DSI Control 11-second Dual Rod is an effective ignition module that features advanced technology, combined with considerable engine control features. This Bosch ignition system provided by Honeywell has a trial time of 11 seconds.

Only 2-rod DSI control on the market incorporates MSD (magnetic switch) technology in which the spark voltage and current are matched to assure optimum engine performance in all conditions. The most advanced system offered with an 11-second timing delay to prevent misfires during cold weather operation. Our patented Ion Vaporization Chamber offers more consistent ionization of fuel for higher efficiency and improved power output in today's high compression engines.

Direct spark ignition (DSI) control provides unsurpassed consistent firing. Just 20,000 volts are required for each burner, resulting in reduced power consumption and minimized voltage drop in the high-resistance residential electrical system. The result – cleaner, more efficient cooking with uniform heat across the cook top that virtually eliminates cold spots. Also included is a dual rod radiant burners for even heating of griddles and large pots.

It can operate on either a low-voltage battery (additional 24-volt battery and harness required) or from tank power when used with the 1620 TANK ADAPTER (2750). DSI controls are available with various mounting configurations. Sensing range is .300 inch to 6 inches unless otherwise noted on the description. Panel mounted microprocessor causes the spark. The direct spark ignition module II (DSI) with 11 sec trial time is a nonsparking, self-powered, continuous current power source for welding equipment where machine or arc start is not possible. It offers 2765 watts at 24V and produces large current output during the 11 sec on period. No external high voltage source is needed to energize the DSI. Designed for easy installation and handling, the DSI mounts on any compatible mounting plate on either side of the machine.
