This single-rod control, with a 6 second lockout timing, from Honeywell is simple to install and features a 6 second and trial off period. This HSI control is suitable for most outdoor grills. It can also be used in places such as commercial kitchens and bbq grills.

The Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) Control used exclusively with heat guns or soldering irons should be made safe and locked out prior to use. The HSI Control is a self-contained, single-rod product that both locks out the control and extinguishes power discharges when the iron is lifted away from work. When properly installed, the single-rod HSI Control removes all but the slightest possibility of accidental contact with a power discharge.
