"FLOAT SWITCH

SCHNEIG ELECTRIC 9038AG1C Series Square D 9038 Open Tank Mechanical Contactor, Voltage 125/250, Amps 20.3, Frame Size 507, NEMA 1, Contacts Close On Rise, Compensating Spring. FLOAT SWITCH

The float switch is the heart of the control circuit. It senses when the level of the liquid is too high or too low and closes or opens the contact accordingly. The float switch is located inside the sealed glass tube and consists of an aluminum paddle attached to a copper wire that extends through the tube, where it connects to an internal copper wire extending from one end of a compression spring to the other end."

The float switch is designed for controlling systems that require a minimum of 3-5 hours of on time per day. When installed in the tank, the float switch automatically starts and stops pumps as water level rises and falls. The float switch provides decentralized control and is easy to install. The self-contained sealed solenoid is built into the float switch"

The Schneider Electric Float Switches monitor the liquid level in a tank or reservoir and automatically switch to standby power when the liquid runs low. This model features a built-in pilot lamp and is ideal for continuous, trouble-free sensing of fluid levels. It includes an automatic reset magnet, and has contacts that close on rise.

The Square D by Schneider Electric 9038AG1C 9038 Open Tank Mechanical Alternator, NEMA 1, Contacts Close on Rise, Compensating Spring is a Float Switch that is used to detect the water level in steam generators. It has a Total Float Height of 6-9/16 Inch and it has a Coil voltage of 120V. The standard lead time for this float switch, without options, is 5-7 days.

Electronic-magnetic switch for use as surge protection, overvoltage protection, and to control switching devices. The float contact is opened when the cover liquid fills its chamber.

The float is attached directly to the shaft of the device being controlled. This type of device is useful for measuring liquids where a mechanical link between the switch and the process is not advantageous. Common applications include bottoms level controls, liquid water level controls and overboard discharges.
