The Single Zone Switching Relay (HPSR101) is a self contained device intended for the switching of low voltage control power for single zone applications. It can be mounte on a wall or DIN rail, and requires only two wires for communication with a central controller.

The singlezone switching relay provides pure, clean 24 VAC output to one or two heating zones. The HPSR101 is the replacement for the Series 100, 200 single zone relays and is housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure.

Honeywell's HPSR101 Single Zone Switching Relay is a compact, single-relay device (includes microprocessor/logic circuit) with the capability of energizing up to three different Honeywell heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) products controlled by 3 separate thermostats. The relay includes a remote indicator LED and two integral terminals for 24 VAC signaling devices to control humidifier water levels. The third terminal provides power for operating the humidifier level switch.

The HPSR101 Single Zone Switching Relay allows the user to control one heating or cooling device (for example, a 30A general service residential electric heater) up to 1 ohm resistance per channel. It accepts low current SPDT thermostatic and non-thermostatic solid state relay control voltages from both normally open and normally closed contacts.

The Honeywell HPSR101 Single Zone Switching Relay is designed to control the furnace blower motor. This product enables the user to control the blower speed based on their current requirements: a low speed during heat pumps with auxiliary heat, or a high speed during heat pumps without auxiliary heat. The user may also program their furnace for a time delay from initial turn-on, as well as a timed off period after the unit has run on high speed. Most settings can be programmed according to US and Canada standards.

The HPSR101 is a single zone switching relay that works with the Metasys® WGR series controllers. It can be used to switch HVAC units, in-line fans, supplementary heaters etc.
